Well it's a new year and another year I am determined to get in shape. I'm really unhappy with how my body looks, and how I've treated my body in the years since my mother passed (5 years ago). I want to eat better as well as increase my activity level. I'm hoping that by blogging and finding online support I will have a better chance to succeed this year!
Did you see the Harry Potter movie this weekend? Are you going to read the new book?
I did see Harry Potter over the weekend, and I'm sad to say that I was a little pissed off about how much they took out and the stuff they changed. In terms of the book, this was probably my least favorite. I'm definitely going to go get the new book on Friday night!!

Well, I was born and raised here (Kansas), and never really had the money or the opprotunity to leave.
If you could watch any movie on the big screen right at this moment, what would it be?
Every single time I watch Singing in the Rain, I always think "I wish I could have seen this in the theaters". I don't know what it is about it - obviously doesn't have major special effects or anything - but I just love that movie and would love to see Gene Kelly on the big screen :)
What is your favorite way to relieve stress?
I like to scream and vent, and then go eat something chocolate. :)
What was (or is) your favorite subject in school?
I always liked my English classes. All through high school I had some pretty great teachers and learned a bunch of stuff.
What was the last wedding you went to? Were you in the wedding?
Oh my gosh this is kinda weird!! I just went to my aunt's wedding yesterday (Friday) but was not in the wedding. I'm getting ready to go to bed, but tomorrow I'll upload some pictures :)
What's your morning beverage of choice? Coffee, tea, juice? Homemade or store-bought?
Usually I don't drink anything in the morning, I just slurp up the left over milk from my cereal :) Although I do enjoy orange juice in the morning.
What magazines do you subscribe to, and why?
I used to subscribe to Marie Claire and Cosmo, but I would browse through and never actually read the magazine, so I currently don't have any subscriptions.
